Yard Fest is back for its eighth year, and this one’s set to be the best yet! This July, come down to Underfall Yard to explore and celebrate everything the harbour has to offer. For two days, the yard will be filled with joyous music, independent market stalls and demonstrations of maritime machinery and traditional skills.

Live Music
We’re thrilled to bring back the live stage for this year’s Yard Fest. This year’s lineup truly has something for everyone, with a host of talented local acts as well as some exciting visitors from the UK and overseas!
Saturday:
12:30PM – The Bristol Folk Singers: A team of talented local singers will be starting the weekend off with some uplifting and familiar tunes!
1:30PM – Maddie Storvold: Maddie is a mesmerizing Canadian folk singer and storyteller whose enchanting melodies will captivate your heart.
3PM – Ru Robinson: The day heats up with Bristol’s very own legend, Ru Robinson, bringing infectious tropical rhythms that will have you dancing in no time.
7PM – Lexxi: Wrapping up the night, Lexxi, a regular on South West Underground FM, will deliver an electrifying mix of reggae, dancehall, electronica, and future beats, ensuring the party keeps going.
The Live Stage will close by 10pm
Sunday:
3PM – Sea Shantys: Prepare to be swept away by the robust and rousing performances of our beloved local sea shanty crews! Featuring turns from local favourites the Frampton Shanty Men and High & Dry.
5PM – Sonic Sounds: From afternoon to evening, we welcome Sonic Sounds all the way from Pembrokeshire. They’re bringing a sensational blend of funk, reggae, soul, and disco to close out our weekend on a high note.
The Live Stage will close by 9:30pm
Underfall Market
This year, we will be launching our latest venture, Underfall Market. The market will showcase the best of Bristol’s local makers, craftspeople, tradespeople and artisan producers reflecting Bristol’s diverse cultural heritage. The market will take place from 10am – 6pm on both the Saturday and Sunday. There will also be guests from various harbourside charities, sharing their valuable work and exciting opportunities.
Live Demonstrations
The volunteers of Underfall Yard Trust will be running live demonstrations of the yard’s hydraulic pump house. Watch this space for demonstration timings…
The Knotters Guild and the Association of Retired Merchant Seamen will be on hand to teach you how to tie nautical knots and operate a mini ship’s derrick!
